in numismatics; a numismatologist.

treatise on, or description of, coins and medals.

Nu*mis`ma*tol"o*gist (?), n. One
versed in numismatology.

numisma, -atis + -logy.] The science which treats
of coins and medals, in their relation to history;
numismatics.
