A salt of muconic acid.

designating, an organic acid, obtained indirectly from mucic acid,
and somewhat resembling itaconic acid.

+ purulent.] (Med.) Having the character or
appearance of both mucus and pus.

The plants consist of slender threads with terminal globular
sporangia; mold.

mucus mucus.] 1. Of, pertaining to, or

as, the mucous membrane.
