act of one who, or the operation of that which, mows.


2. Land from which grass is cut; meadow
land.


Mowing machine, an agricultural machine
armed with knives or blades for cutting standing grass, etc. It is
drawn by a horse or horses, or propelled by steam.

mowing, as grass; deprived of grass by mowing; as, a mown
field.
